Privacy Policy

Sprout collects only the information needed to diagnose plant health, maintain optional accounts, manage subscriptions, and improve app reliability. We do not sell personal data and we do not use collected data for third-party advertising or tracking.

Data We Use

Sprout may use plant photos you choose for AI diagnosis, diagnosis results, plant notes, scan quota state, optional account identifiers, optional email address, and App Store subscription entitlement status. Guest mode is available without creating an account.

Photos and AI Diagnosis

Selected plant images are sent to Google Gemini for plant-health analysis. Routine diagnosis images are used to return your result. Optional verified feedback may upload an image and diagnosis metadata to Firebase so we can improve quality.

Accounts and Subscriptions

Email, Apple, and Google sign-in are optional account methods. Subscription purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Sprout stores only the entitlement state needed to unlock Sprout Pro.

Third Parties

Sprout uses Google Gemini for image diagnosis, Firebase for optional authentication and verified feedback storage, Apple StoreKit for subscriptions, and Open-Meteo for weather-based care context.

Your Choices

You can use Guest Mode, revoke camera or photo access in iOS Settings, delete your Sprout account from Profile, clear local data, or contact us for privacy help. Deleting your account does not cancel an active App Store subscription; subscriptions are managed in iOS Settings.
